Jamie Robson

“…in life our job is to survive but in art our job is to perish. To survive in life you sometimes have to act. Paradoxically, the task of an actor ultimately asks that we don’t act, a state of non-acting. Perhaps it’s an oscillation between complimentary opposites – true and false, survive and perish…”

Jamie Robson is an award-winning European actor and interdisciplinary artist whose creative approach has been described as “holistic cultivation”. I was fascinated to read his interviews, hearing about his unique background and experiences. For many years, Jamie Robson’s philosophy on the “creative state” has been a constant source of inspiration and he continues to be so each day.
